white water rafting.

white water rafting.
as i promised! here's an entry all about white water rafting:)
we were on the bus to an adventure of our life.
and this is a mark of the courageous.
these are our gears. and shortly. we were on our way!
an amazing scenery surrounds us.
jimbo was our instructor. influential guy.
within minutes on the raft. he taught us all the necessary actions.
he's in full control. feels safe safe safe!
we are going to conquer the kaituna river!
it has a rich culture. but i cant quite remember the details le.
haha. was too excited i guess.
our very 1st rapid. thats what jimbo calls it.
and we had to do the "hold on!".
made it through safely!
we then had a few more mini rapids.
till we reached the highest one. they say its 7metres!
down we go~ wooosh~
water was gushing in from everywhere.
and we were partially submerged.
then FULLY submerged.
e boat went vertically down and popped up again! amazing right?!
for a split second. i felt like a fish.
haha. i know it sounds funny.
laugh all you want. but i truly felt that way.
haha. we made it through! an absolute success.
im sure everyone had their fair share of water.

while all of the girls were trying to catch their breath.
jimbo single-handedly brought us to safety:)
but WAIT! one of our crew is missing!
look at that again. jimbo saves the day once more! haha.
he's a super strong man. experienced too!
just with one tug. he got her back into the raft again!
haha. and as you can see. we were all extremely satisfied:)
during one of the rapids. he challenged us to stand.
haha. it was sure difficult to balance. but FUN!
to end it all. we were pushed towards the strong current.
we were all anticipating. unsure of what would happen.
onyx. the brave. volunteered to be in front.
with a mighty push from jimbo. the front was submerged again.
it lasted for awhile. it was really cold then!
but i must say we certainly enjoyed ourselves to the max!:)
