-DAY 3- we made our way to nelson. it was about 4hours drive away. our horse trekking was at 130pm. so had to get up pretty early. nevertheless. the scenery was great as usual. thousands of vineyard around. neverending. we had to stop by to take a photo. so many many! the marlborough region is the production place of all sorts of wine.the drive was pretty smooth. so we reached slightly early. and had some breakfast:)haha. yes. the same old stuff. bread and peanut butter. apple tea cake and bacon and cheese pull apart. we were picked up shortly and sent to the stonehurst farm. the place where i met OSCAR. my horse:)the left one is ally. weifeng's horse. and the right. oscar!a pretty white horse. a pity weifeng wasn't the prince charming. lol.a closer look. so pretty. but greedy. all horses love to eat! when there is any opportunity. down goes their head and munch munch munch! and there was a cat nearby. a pretty picture huh:) and this is us. all ready to do some horse riding! so exciting. to be frank. i was a little nervous initially. haha. not too sure how to control oscar. but after awhile. it went just fine:)the trail was for about 3 hours. going uphill and downhill. awesome scenery. crossed the river. met some cows and sheep. stopped for some wine and biscuits. rained a little. didn't manage to take pictures along the way. but we sure had fun!:)ta da!:) let me do a short introduction. oscar is twenty years old! a super experienced horse. looks pretty small for his age though. haha. throughout the trip. he pee-ed. poop-ed. ate grass. and kept making the "BRRRR" sound. but i had lots of fun anyways! heh. i think he's the safest horse around ever. when going downslope. he goes reallllly slow. kind of slows everyone down. but haha. whatever. safety comes 1st! yay. so thats my horse. +pats+so that's it for the day. we ended our day with sushi as supper. pretty yummy! and nights to all:)
