a date in auckland:)
the agenda for the day was to rent a scooter.
and explore outer auckland.
in new zealand. it only requires a car license to do so.
heh. it is a whole new experience! so exciting!
and this is our scooter for the day:)
but it was tough riding it actually.
1stly, it was a little small for 2 persons! look at the mini seat!
2ndly, the engine wasn't working so well.
so it died on us a couple of times.
this is one of the times when it did. haha.
so we decided to take some photos while waiting.
and eventually. after much consideration.
we decided to return the silly scooter and rely on our legs instead.
haha. a wise choice i must say. safety 1st!:)
we were so hungry then and went for thai food.
the food was really yummy! best thai ever! haha.
this is some fried appetizer. comes with sweet thai chilli.
and a chicken dish. the sauce was good.
and tom yam soup! superbly made:)
i was too hungry. haha. didn't bother to look up at all.
then we started walking. went past this statue.
he looks quite smart. but i forgot what he was about.
oops. im sorry. didn't mean to be disrespectful.
and since we were in love with red trees!
we were very envious of the house!
it had red leaves crawling all over. haha.
its really pretty! the one and only. very exclusive. heh.
oh oh! we were initially at ponsonby then new market.
and lastly parnell:) the chocolate boutique place!
past by this church.
it has specially grown the flowers in a cross shape:)
my mouth was a little itchy.
so we enter this famous fish and chips place.
and bought chips! one huge bag of it. yum. fat ones.
it is really hot and yummy to eat in the cold.
besides the chocolate boutique.
the other specialty of parnell is the ROSE GARDEN.
the place is slightly smaller than i expected.
but was the roses huge! and in many colours:)
red.
purple.
yellow.
pink.
for the rest. the colours are unique. haha. enjoy:)
so the sky got dark and we strolled back home.
on the way back. we stopped by school to watch a basketball game.
it was amazingly good! i saw a guy slamdunk leh! haha.
and i could totally relate the slamdunk characters to each one of them.
it was so cool!:) haha. very very shuai.
haha. i didn't want to take too many pictures. shy la.
lol. so that ends the day. fruitful and exciting. haha.
alright! i am officially no longer lagging already.
so the future entries would be current ones k:)
haha. i certainly hope it stays that way for long.
